Fading Looptracks

Cross Fading LoopTracks

jambient lets you use simple drag operations to cross fade LoopTracks into one another, that is, simultaneously fade a LoopTrack down, while fading up another LoopTrack. You can also do simple fades.

Cross Fading Individual LoopTracks

Rightdrag from a LoopTrack Letter to initiate a cross fade. The cursor turns into a purple X to indicate you are doing a cross fade drag. Drop anywhere on another LoopTrack. The source of the drag fades down, the target of the drop fades up.

You can also perform this operation using the LoopTrack Positions in the 3d Map --right drag from one position to another.

Cross Fading Sets of LoopTracks

Use the Gang's Letter as the source or target of right drags to cross fade from or to the LoopTracks controlled by the Gang.

Use the Letter of the master LoopTrack in a Blocked Band as the source or target of right drags to cross fade from or to the LoopTracks in the Band.

You can also right drag from or to the space below Band dividers to cross fade from or to all LoopTracks in a Band. The Band can be either a Wedge or a Block band.
