The Volume Slider displays the name of the sample (the full name is shown in the status bar when the mouse is over the slider). The Volume Slider is also used to control volume:

Drag the top pointer to set the LoopTrack's volume. Or click in the top half of the slider to jump to that volume level.

Drag the bottom pointer and release to fade to that level. Or click in the bottom half of the slider to jump the pointer and fade to that level.

Right click on the slider to switch fade.

Note: changes to the Gang are transmitted to all LoopTracks controlled by the Gang. Changes to the master LoopTrack in a blocked Band are transmitted to all LoopTracks in the Band.
